Yellowstone Fly Fishing Report:
Fly fishing in the Yellowstone National Park is closed. The fishing season begins again
on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend (usually the last weekend in May).

Yellowstone River outside of the park is open and fishing okay on warm days. The
Madison River between the lakes, (Hebgen to Quake); the Quake to Ennis sections and
the lower Madison is fishing well most days. You have to keep a daily check on the
weather. Mostly midges and small BWOs, mostly nymphs fishing, but streamers work
well also.
