|....................... .................... ...Fly Fishing Yellowstone National Park
14 More Days Left To Fish
Don't let the local residents of West Yellowstone, Gardiner, and Cook City, mostly
escape convicts, fugitives, and hermits catch all the big trout. You still have two more
weeks to bother the spawning brown trout or, if you prefer, to catch fifty trout a day on
the Firehole River. All you need is a snow suit guaranteed to work at ten below.
Seriously, the next couple of weeks will probably be the best time to fish during the
entire 2013 Yellowstone fishing season. For sure, it will be much better than it was a
couple of weeks ago when the park employes were all on vacation.
Sure, there will be some cold, days but there will be just as many or more nice, warm
days to fish.
The next week looks pretty good. Today will be clear with a high near 50 degrees with a
low around 27.
Tuesday should be sunny, with a high near 53. Tuesday will be mostly clear with a low
of about 27.
Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 54. You could possible wet wade the
Firehole. Well, on second thought, local West Yellowstone drug stores charge a high
price for medicine, that is, if you can find one open.
Thursday should remain sunny, with a high near 52. Friday should be sunny, with a
high near 50.
Saturday should be sunny, with a high near 49.
Sunday should be sunny, with a high near 46.
Southern California won't be as nice as the coming week in Yellowstone.
