Sorry for the delay in the articles. I stated that I would be making daily postings
back on March 28th and did so until 5 days ago when I got behind on everything
I had going. I'm back square with my boss (Angie) and can continue.
Planning A Yellowstone Fly Fishing Trip - Firehole River - Part 1
The Firehole River is one of the very first streams to get into good shape when
the season opens. It's usually fine on opening day of the season. One reason is
that it gets some of its water from geysers that helps warm the water in the
normally still cold, first part to the season.
As you can see in this photo, much of the water is slick and that means it isn't
exactly easily to catch trout but there's plenty of them in the river and they are
catchable if you use the right tactics and strategies.
